bug in crt1.o

hello:

I have a problem for link a program, gcc return a messages:

/usr/lib/crt1.o: in function: '_start':
/usr/lib/crt1.o(.text+0x18): undefined reference to 'main'
collect2 : ld return 1 status exit.

I compile the program in Linux Mandrake 7.2 and Linux Debian 2.2r2 and
get this messages. How can resolv problem?.
