Iconv BUG

I've just finished updating the glibc 2.2.4 on my Red-hat 6.1 linux 
(base glibc and linuxthreads).

The installation seems to be OK but now during some operations (e.g. 
RPM) I receive the following error message (with core dumping too !):


rpm: ../iconv/skeleton.c:302: gconv: Assertion `outbufstart == ((void 
*)0)' failed.
Aborted (core dumped)


What is the problem ?
