Do you have any recommendation on how to do this? Actually we were
testing the FPE when we ran into this bug, so this is some kind of
catch 22. We used a pretty old FP test program called "paranoia".
I don't think that the FPE is the culprit though, since the bug shows
up on various kinds of systems with different CPUs and kernel versions
(reaching from 2.2.14 to 2.4.3). Will do more testing, though.
