Probably not the right people to ask, but ...
I am not confident upgrading the glibc on a Slack box of mine, for various
reasons. However, I need a copy of Squid on said box. Squid is failing to
compile, because it is reporting a problem similar to:
Storage size of '<variable>' unknown
Which, squid FAQ says is due to a bug in glibc-2.1.0, and glibc-2.1.1.
However, i'm running glibc-2.1.2, on Linux 2.4.4. glibc was installed from a
previous version of Linux, probably 2.2.something..
Any ideas? :)
