Greetings,
I hope you can answer a question I am dealing with.
After a glibc-2.1.2-11 rpm update from 2.1.1 (Red Hat 6.0, 2.2.5-15), the
system will not go down cleanly do to ld-2.1.1.so and libutil-2.1.1.so still
being seen as busy. The auto fsck fixes this on reboot but I would like to
know if there is any easy way to clean this up with out having to reboot. I
am admin for about 1000 machines distributed across the country and we need
the glibc update for a java project. It just seems untidy to have to rely on
fsck to clean this up.
Thank you for your time.
