How to eliminate wide character support?

Hi all,

I'm trying to port glibc ofr my processor. The
compiler I have does not have support for long long
and wide character. 
Is there any easy way to eliminate wide character
support and long long support while building glibc
(through configuration). Any information on this will
be very helpful.
