Using glibc-2.3.1 to compile programs for glibc-2.2

Hi,

how can i use glibc-2.2.93 to compile programs for glibc-2.2?

e.g. i want to have address@hidden used instead of
fnmatch@@GLIBC_2.2.3, cause the last is not defined
in glibc-2.2

i'm using gcc 3.2
