glibc-2.3.1 bug report

(Could not access http://www-gnats.gnu.org:8080/cgi-bin/wwwgnats.pl sorry.
Port 8080 is blocked here, and I tried with lynx on an outside machine,
but gnats needs cookies)

without errors
        make install (as root) dies with
