Confused by error message: indirect symbol `__libc_internal_tsd_s et' to `__libc_internal_tsd_set@@GLIBC_2.0' is a loop |

Dear developers/users:
I suddenly began to get this error message when compiling some code. Even
reverting to the unchanged code that compiled fine a few days ago results in
the same message.
Can anyone suggest what is a likely cause of this error message?? It seems
to have something to do with GLIBC
I tried upgrading to 2.2.5, then reinstalling 2.2.4, same results!
I hope it is a really simple thing I have overlooked because it is causing a
lot of trouble just now, to be unable to compile my program!
Thanks
Robert
