Hi,
In my work modifying glibc 2.3.2 I've created a couple extra functions
which I'm hoping to be able to export, so they can be callable by
outside apps.
At the moment all compiles well, however the symbols are only local and
as such can't be called from outside the shared library.
Is there a symbol way to get these exported globally?
failing that, is it possible to use objcopy or something similar to edit
the binary shared object to export the necessary symbols?
thanks
Toby
