I am using the Xandros patch for WPO2K-4Linux (wpo2000-support_1.0-1_i386.deb) along with GLibc-2.3.1 built from source.

After hacking the script that comes with the DEB package and copying only the GLibc files needed to: "/opt/libc-compat", I have it working except that WordPerfect won't print.

So, now to the actual problem. When I try to print to the printer, I get this error:
<<
sh: relocation error: /opt/libc-compat/libc.so.6: symbol __libc_stack_end, version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in file ld-linux.so.2 with link time reference
>>
and I have no idea what to do to fix it. IIUC, that symbol is not in: "ld-2.3.1.so" (which is what the link: "ld-linux.so.2" points to).

I have already tried Google (68 hits) and it wasn't any real help.

Any help with fixing this problem would be appreciated not just by me but by other WOP2K-4Linux users.

Is this fixable?

Is it a bug in that version?

Note that upgrading is not an option because Corel-Wine will not run with GLibc > 2.3.1.

I presume that the symbol is in GLibc-2.3.3 which is the release that I have on my system.
