Like so many others around the world, we at Prosperity Groupn International 
have carefully ascertained the devastation caused by the earthquake and tsunami 
that has hit many parts of Asia and east Africa. Since its inception, 
Prosperity Group International has been headed by its visionary chairperson, 
Michael Edwards. The organization is governed by a body of Trustees, with the 
help of an Executive Committee, as well as a patron and an Advisory Board. 

The year 2004 has been a record year for responding to disasters, large and 
small. From floods and residential fires to hurricanes that devastated entire 
communities throughout the southeast U.S and now preparing to support through 
our International Response Fund, relief efforts for the catastrophic earthquake 
and tsunamis that stuck South Asia.  Because of the public?s generous support 
Prosperity Group has been able to respond immediately. But we continue to need 
your support in the coming months as we provide relief for victims these 
disasters. Additionally, donations from you and other generous supporters will 
assure that we meet the demand of collecting and supplying more than 6 million 
units of blood for over 3,000 hospitals around the affected areas. 

Prosperity Group International is collecting funds to bring relief to the 
victims of the tsunami at a time when a national disaster has been declared. 

These funds will be used to buy whatever necessary according to the 
requirements at ground zero. Two thirds (2/3) of the coastline is hit hardest 
while 1 in every 20 people in this island of 19 million has been made homeless. 
 We have just launched a program to help those who have lost their homes. It is 
estimated around 10,000 homes have been badly damaged. Most of those are homes 
of poor fishermen, who have no insurance. It is estimated to cost around 
$1500.00 to build a basic house. So please let people you know who would like 
to help about this matter. We encourage you to get together and sharing the 
cost of building a house for a family in need. We will send the updates and 
pictures of the family as we progress and when the house is finished your name 
will be imprinted on the house to also encourage more people to assist. Donors 
looking to support Prosperity Group International need not worry about where 
their donations go, all money contributed goes fully to charitable purposes, 
with no administrative withholdings. In accordance with Prosperity group?s 
guidelines, funds are distributed based on the degree of need and the urgency 
of the situation.
