I'm not sure what your project is about, and I suspect glibc is not
the best project to start on as a student project, but I just wanted
to let you know that this list is probably not the best list to use
for your request.  This list is no longer used by the glibc
maintainers, because it is so infested with spam that it is very hard
to find the real messages.

Check out <URL:http://www.gnu.org/software/libc/> to find the current
lists.  I recommend reading the mailing list archive to learn more
about the project before you post your first message.
