Im
Nastya Gontarovskayas mother and I address to you with the
request to help to rescue my sole daughter. In Odessa in May,
2004 (15 years) she had put the terrible diagnosis - malignant
tumour of soft fabrics sarcoma.

This is Nastya - up to illness (14 years,
November 2002 and May 2003) and during illness (16 years, May
2005).
We
have already heard for some times, that the efforts in our situation
are useless, that having such diagnosis and development of the
tumour, the people dont survive, that it is a verdict. Its
impossible to describe all horror experience; such words simply
do not exist
In
spite of all my husband and I could not reconcile with it and
continued to struggle together with Nastya IN SPITE OF ANITHING.
Nastya
as a persistent girl studied with distinction at school 84 in
Odessa (which she has not finished yet) and studied foreign
languages. And persistently SHE IS STRUGGLING WITH THIS NOT
CHILDREN ILLNESS. In spite of anything Nastya continues to study
foreign languages. She speaks French very well (already being
ill in 15 years she has protected the complete diploma DELF
of Ministry of education of France), speaks English, has the
diplomas and letters from the first till the third place for
participation in urban and regional Olympiads on the English
and French languages.
WE
BEGAN TO WIN THIS TERRIBLE ILLNESS. Nastya has gone through
one difficult operation in Kiev, then 11-hour hard operation
in St.Petersburg, which was spent by the brigade of the surgeons
led by the professor Tarasov, 2 operations on removal of ìåòàñòàç
in the lungs, beam therapy and 12 chemotherapy. And the illness
has receded. The doctors did not expect such result, they were
surprised.
WE
COULD DO THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANOTHER PEOPLE.
But
what price this victory (we are sure that it is undoubtedly
victory)! Through what trials we have passed! What money resources
it costed to us!
Now
we with Nastya are in special children's branch oncology in
St. Petersburg in hospital 31, which is headed by the professor
Belogurova.
We
are the foreigners in St. Petersburg and we have to pay for
everything: for Nastyas and my presence(finding) in hospital
- monthly about 1500 US dollars, for medicines and treatment-
about 1000-1500 US dollars, let alone a feed(meal) and other
current charges (and so each month, and in St. Petersburg we
have been since September 2004). My husband gets money to treatment
how he can, our friends helped a lot to us. But Nastya has to
continue treatment in St. Petersburg to recover completely.
But how much time it can borrow (occupy) four months, six
or more. We do not know. After last research PET three
centers stay yet and if by chemistry the bad crates arent cleaned
completely, we have to do operation. And the doctors have told
that on Ukraine or in Russia operation can not make, therefore
in this case we will come to operate abroad. The cost of operation
is about 65000 dollars; it is the price of Nastyas life. We
pray that the operation will not be necessary, but at the same
time we should be ready for it in any case.

Due
to pages on these sites and publications about Nastya we began
to get the help, but it is not enough to pass the treatment
completely, to win illness up to the end. Thats why I address
to everyone, to whom Nastyas life is not indifferent,HELP
TO CURE NASTYA COMPLETELY. YOU SEE THIS ILLNESS IS FATAL AND
IF NOT TO CURE COMPLETELY
SHE WANTS TO LIVE, TO STUDY, TO BE
PLEASED, TO LOVE AND TO BE LOVED! SHE IS ONLY 16 YEARS! SHE
DREAMS TO RETURN TO ODESSA!
