Done, thanks!  But to complete the make process I had to add the `depcomp'
script to GLPK's main directory.  In fact, I was getting

src/Makefile.am: required file `./depcomp' not found
make[1]: *** [Makefile.in] Error 1

make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

I believe you should include `depcomp' in the distribution.
