To Whom It May Concern: I think that I may have found a bug in Version 4.9 of GLPSOL binary released from ftp://gnu.mirror.pacific.net.au/gnu/gnu/. I downloaded this package approximately eight months ago. Attached you will find two files. File (1) is my .mod file. This mod file is a modification from the IBM examples at http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/linux/library/l-glpk2/ referred to as the #8220;Post Office Problem #8221; This model attempts to model a rotating roster of thirteen days on, eight days off for a remote mining operation in Western Australia. The roster is set such that a crew (A thru AP) could works either seven day shifts followed by six nights shifts, followed by eight days off. OR the crew works six nights shifts, followed by seven day shifts followed by eight days off. Seats available on the airplane (to the remote mining operation) is constrained by E01 thru E42. Files (2) A Microsoft Excel #8220;input form #8221; for the resulting out file.
