Thanks. But, instead of downgrading to 1.2.5, would it be feasible to
"port" 1.2.8 to ANSI C instead, as you did for 1.2.7? Is it mostly a
matter of function declaration style (ANSI vs K&R) or is there
something deeper? In the former case, I could try to do provide a
patch, if I find the time.
