You have to be a member of a gnu.org list to post. This one is special, and
really only used by distributions to report upstream bugs.

I don't see this problem on my FreeBSD machine, so I assume there is a weird
bug in X11. At one point on sme BSDs, there was a bug in the atk library that
did this exact same thing. What version of FreeBSD are you running ?
