Hi,

I downloaded the source code this morning and I just tried to
compile and install it. Configuration was fine but make failed
with the complaint that the variable "input_thread" was declared
twice. Once for the stack in the file common.h:719 and a second
time as a static in the file input.c:95.
I deleted the qualifier "static" from the line input.c:95 and the
thing compiled. After installation it started normally. I have to
test it now.
I am running Fedora 6 with the original kernel build,
2.6.18-1.2798.fc6 #1. My processor is an AMD 64 Athlon X2.
My compiler is gcc version 4.1.1 20061011 (Red Hat 4.1.1-30).
