As you may know, the UCI mode is not intended for human interaction,
but mainly for interaction with programs such as chess GUIs. Moreover,
UCI 'go' is not the same as GNU Chess 'go' command (non UCI mode). If
you want to play a game in UCI mode interactively, you should type
other UCI commands before go, mainly, ucinewgame. The UCI standard
includes an example.

Ok, I misinterpreted the UCI standard and mistook UCI mode with non-UCI
mode :-D .
