My platform:I'm running CYGWIN_NT-5.1 1.3.15(0.65/3/2) on top of XP with all patches current as of today. I downloaded the cygwin environment from cygnus today and also have PRC-tools installed. I installed everything from binaries using the setup utility http://cygwin.com/setup.exe.
The problem:When i try to exit Emacs using the keyboard command, C-x C-c, it doesn't exit. The word "Quit" flashes in the lower left corner of the window and my pc emits a dull beep from the internal speaker. I am able to successfully use other keyboard commands such as the saving the buffer to a file. I am able to exit normally via the menu keys.
