Howdy!
I've encountered a freeze bug in Emacs. I'm using Debian Woody's build
for i386, v. 21.2.
* Gnus is running in another buffer, periodically checking mail/news:
(setq gnus-use-demon t)
(gnus-demon-add-handler 'gnus-group-get-new-news 5 t)
(gnus-demon-init)
* In the foreground buffer I'm editing plain text (major mode is AUC
TeX) with flyspell-mode enabled.
* The freeze occurs when the flyspell context menu is shown (middle
mouse button click-and-release over a highlighted word) and Gnus
decides to check for new mail/news while the context menu is still
open.
The freeze is reproducible and consistent. Emacs doesn't respond to
C-g or indeed anything but violence.
Let me know if I can provide further useful information.
Martin
