bug#36349: 27.0.50; does not start if called as symlink

no.  

I built emacs from master as of
6e2708694140cd3b4ff6aeb39534c4704d6d4e23 which includes
65d45def8d71e50d111adf1141011a5d30a27447.

Now everything works fine again.  Thanks for your answer and
Daniels fix.
