bug#9441: in GUD, gdb mode, src buffer wont show with gdb's file command

I tried with

`M-x gdb --fullname src/emacs RET'

and

`M-x gdb --fullname RET'
file src/emacs

and...  The results aren't identical, but I'm not quite sure what's
meant by "then src file wont open".  I don't get a source file in any
case anywhere.
