But a small problem that there is a need to exclude some subdirectories from the search by 'C-x p g'. And I don't understand if your another patch with 'project-vc-subprojects' could help with this?
Now, it's for something else (subprojects within monorepos).A way to specify ignore entries for "fallback" projects can be added easily with a variable like project-fallback-ignores (same as project-vc-ignores). I've been debating internally whether we need such a variable at all, and whether it should simply be an alias for project-vc-ignores. But, uh, probably not?
