     I was trying to run crosstabs with the following command....
     CROSSTABS VARIABLES Q4 (1,7) Q5 (1,7) /TABLES Q4 BY Q5 CELLS
     COUNT,ROW,COLUMN,TOTAL /STATISTICS ALL.
     
     Datafile itself is valid and variable labels exist.
      

I can't reproduce this.

Can you post a complete syntax file which produces it.
