PSPP-BUG: [bug #21329] Tests fail on OpenBSD

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #21329 (project pspp):

I think that John is right, but there are a few confusing bits in the source
tree and the tests here.  Jason, are you willing to try an experiment?  Apply
the patch that I am attaching, which simply deletes the lines of code that
generate that message.  Then we will see what effect it has on the test
results.  Probably, most of those tests will now be fixed, but some will
remain.  I want to know what changes.
