Follow-up Comment #4, bug #23223 (project pspp):

Everything is the default. So the install script choses to create a new
directory pspp and to place the *.so in /usr/local/ib/pspp without changing
the ld.so.conf file. I think this is not user friendly.

Sure but for new users this will be 100% who get the warning. Wouldn't it be
better to check and change the ld.so.conf if necessary?
