I've noticed that when I enter a variable label which contains an apostrophe, by copying the sentence and pasting it from my excel spread sheet I get some odd characters.
In a Likert-type survey item with a agree-disagree response to the proposition below -
I’ve always wanted
to study law
becomes, when copied from excel into PSPP editor sheet, variable view -
I’ve always wanted to study law
It's no biggie, it tidies up okay, just thought I'd mention it
