If you are not experienced at building software, then perhaps you
should download one of the pre-built binaries for PSPP.  There
are links to such binaries at:
        http://www.gnu.org/software/pspp/get.html
Please note these binaries are prepared by third parties over
whom I have no control.  I cannot make assertions about the
reliability of these packages.
