PSPP-BUG: cannot select first line in import wizard mac version |

Hi,
I am hoping to use PSPP for my statistics work, but I have been unable to import any text files (not *.txt or *.csv).
In the Wizard, at the window were I must "select the first line of data", I cannot select anything. Clicking on the window results in auto-scrolling to the last case. I've tried using control-select and the data does not scroll, but still nothing is selected. Actually, the whole window of delimited data seems to be selected (it is a blue-green color); when I click with "command-all" the window becomes white. When I try to select the first line in the white window of data, the whole window becomes blue-green.
The result in "Fields View" is always only one line of data--the variable columns are all there, but never more than one case. When I've included headings/variable names in the first line of a text file, the import result is that the headings line is treated as a case. I am unable to select "line above selected line contains variable names."
I really hope you can help me with the problem so I can use PSPP! Many thanks,
Susan
