Hi Elizabeth,

There are two seperate links to pre-built Mac binaries on the web site
I haven't tried them myself, because a I don't use Mac.

The install instructions should be very straightforward (at least from the
perspective of someone at the level of writing an academic thesis). Also,
there should be nothing in them specific to Linux.

Can you please tell us which parts you find unclear, and we will try to fix

I love the concept of what you're doing with pspp, but I'm just wondering
if there's a simpler explanation of how to install the program - I'm reasonable
with basic computer skills but this linux-esque stuff I just have no clue, and
the install instructions aren't really that clear unless you know what you're
talking about.
This seems to be the only way I can complete my thesis stats but I really
can't afford to spend hours working out what the packages are/what else is
needed and how to run each thing. I'm just googling every second word and
getting frustrated...
I'm running mac OSX 10.6.8, and I haven't done anything to the computer
relating to this kind of work, so I assume I need certain packages... I just
don't know what they are.
Or if you know of someone who has compiled the data into an install file
that would also be a huge help...
