Hi There, I’m loving PSPP...as it’s a great alternative to SPSS! Thank you for bringing it to us, saving us from wasting our money on IBM! Now, there’s just one thing that is a little frustrating when using it...for some reason PSPP keeps truncating my filenames...so that a long file name like ‘recoded datasheet 9Sep13’ is saved as something like ‘recode ~.sav’ This is not good it’s important to name files properly...so the truncation doesn’t help in identifying what the file is. Can this be addressed? Many thanks, Dr. John Tse GL Noble Denton is a global independent technical advisor to the oil & gas industry providing assurance, consulting, marine operations and project execution services.
