I am not sure whether you mean that DISPLAY DICTIONARY shows all
variables (you can tell which variables to show) or whether you mean
that it shows all the information about a variable (there are a few
variations that show less information).

The command CODEBOOK is fairly new: according to online documentation it
was introduced in SPSS 17.

OK. I am continuing to work on it. Just now, I fixed a rendering bug
whereby the output of DISPLAY DICTIONARY often did not look as good as
it could.
