You will need to apply the attached patch to the current git version of guix.
Then you can simply run
make
./pre-inst-env guix build pspp -K
The parameter "-K" keeps the build tree in /tmp/nix-build-pspp-0.8.1.drv-0/ ;
you can cd there, run "source environment-variables", then
"cd pspp-0.8.1" and re-run the tests.
