Summary: Crashes when not in C locale => EXAMINE crashes on
empty dataset.

I've checked in a fix for one of these problems.
The others can be tested with the following test case.
Updating the title of this bug accordingly.
data list list /x *.
begin data.
.
.
end data.
examine /x /statistics = descriptives.
