Follow-up Comment #5, bug #55357 (project pspp):

I had another look at this.  It seems to happen only with certain window
managers.

I'll take a look to see if I can fix it.

In the meantime I suggest using a tiling window manager such as ratpoison for
which the problem doesn't manifest itself.
