It is unlikely that GNU Finger 1.37 will compile cleanly on GNU/Linux
systems. An alpha release that consists mostly of changes to the build
environment is available at (or mirrors of)
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/finger/finger-1.39a5.tar.gz
This should configure and build cleanly on GNU/Linux systems. Please let
me know if you encounter problems.
