patch windows problem

Hi.

On Windows, when I use patch.exe, it asks me for the file and dir to 
patch. I assume that it is asking me because the index header is using 
linux directory separators (like "folder/anotherfolder/lastfolder"). But 
on Windows it is "folder\anotherfolder\lastfolder".

This makes it hard to patch many different directories w/o writing in 
the directory each time.
