erm... that's way beyond my abilities.  But alls you gots to do is add
a cross reference exactly as you refer me below, so that not only me,
but everybody will get referred:

Yup, that's the cross reference to add.  Add it to the Time Functions
node.

The only other thing you hopefully will do is on both those pages,
note "that for those who are looking around for a quick fix to their
date problems, some of the examples here are already available form
the GNU date command" lest they were to learn awk just do do a shell
date one liner.
