http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11029 su - username -c "exit 2"; echo $? returns 0 rather than 2. I can see arguments for both wanting 0 (su worked) and wanting 2 (return value from the executed command)... Is this intentional/defined by any standard? LLaP bero
