The Subject: line says it all -- or maybe just SOME of it; the other part
may be that "I'm also stupid." :-)
Basically, I just tried to build inetutils 1.3.2 on Solaris 2.7 and 'make'
doesn't like your 'make.config' file--- it complains of an unexpected
end-of-line at line 68, which is
if test -d $$DISTFILE; then \
I have very little 'make' experience, and even less GNU experience, so this
is about as far as I can take any of this. I think I saw something about
needing "GNU make," and although I really have NO IDEA what implementation
of "make" is installed on the system(s) here, I'm pretty sure it's NOT GNU.
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
(All I really want is buildable Telnet Server source code for *nix, that I
can modify to merely "relay" a Telnet connection onto a serial port. I'd be
interested in any pointers you might have to anything of that nature.)
Sincerely,
Chris Chiesa
