touch(1) documentation, info or man page, doesn't mention touch's
approach to symbolic links. Therefore say you have
lrwxrwxrwx 1 bob bob 10 04 17 13:04 bbbbbbbbb -> aaaaaaaaaa
and you intend to update the time of bbbbbbbbb without disturbing
or creating aaaaaaaaaa, you don't know how. And you see such
entertainment as
$ ls bbbbbbbbb
bbbbbbbbb
$ touch -c bbbbbbbbb
touch: bbbbbbbbb: No such file or directory
version: touch (GNU fileutils) 4.0p as seen on Mandrake 7.2
