I am using Mingw32 to compile my boot manager. Every time I
pass the flag “—oformat=binary” to
LD it crashes with a NULL pointer error. I have confirmed this under Win2k and
Linux. Also, the Mingw32 version of AS doesn’t support 16-bit assembly
language code. This is a major drawback and prevents me from being able to
compile my boot manager under Mingw32. Is there any chance of this support
being added? Thanks Brian |
