Hi! A friend of mine is forcing me into reporting this. There is a
grammatic error in the ABOUT-NLS file distributed with gettext:
"
Notes on the Free Translation Project
*************************************
Free software is going international! The Free Translation Project
is a way to get maintainers of free software, translators, and users all
together, so that will gradually become able to speak many languages.
"
The last part of the last sentence here has really weird grammar. The
page http://www.gnu.org/manual/gettext-0.10.35/html_chapter/gettext_9.html
seems to have this same section with better grammar. For your comfort, I
have attached a patch to this mail :)
I have also found a conversation regarding ABOUT-NLS from 1998(!) and nothing
seems to have happened. Here's a link to the conversation:
http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/contrib/po/manuals/rmail/corrections
Btw, I wrote this letter because I had some time to waste. No reply necessary.
