ranlib in GNU binutils has BUG

ranlib: V. 2.11.90

BUG: file before running ranlib:  101932 byte
            file after running ranlib:         89032 byte



OS: cygwin Build 20th May 2001

as attachment the file before and after and the coredumps of the crash of
objcopy ( with the "-O pe-i386" Option).

(aamapi36st2.lib is a copy of aamapi36.lib; aamapi36.lib is beeing
castrated by ranlib)

[with ar -s its the same as with ranlib - so I don't have to doubt on my
mind :-)))) ]
