Request for SED change

I'd like to ask for a change to the config files for building SED. In 
particular I would like this change incorporated into CONFIGURE.IN:-

This would enable it to be built as a .EXE file on systems which used an 
executable suffix. Currently various tricks need to be used to enable a 
build to succeed properly, but these two macros which have been available 
for a couple of years, provide newer versions of Autoconf with the means 
for automatically building Configure scripts correctly for the platforms 
which can make use of these features.
