tar 1.13.24

dear sir or madam,

i just had to upgrade from tar 1.13 due to a problem with --exclude.

using the 1.13.24, i have a problem with archive listings (see att 
list24 (just an excerpt).

when using 1.13.23, the listings are correct (see att list23, same 
excerpt).

both versions build the correct archive.

could it be something special with long pathnames or deep directories?
or am i doing something wrong?
