hi,

1. you might want to add .hxx as an extension for C++ headers
(I haven't seen this being used; this is only for symmetry with .cxx).

2. IMHO gettextize should indicate that "aclocal" takes care of 
updating aclocal.m4, like `libtoolize' does:
        Remember to add `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' to `configure.in'.
        You should update your `aclocal.m4' by running aclocal.

I suggest this:

Please add the files
  codeset.m4 gettext.m4 glibc21.m4 iconv.m4 isc-posix.m4 lcmessage.m4
  progtest.m4
from the /usr/local/share/aclocal directory to your autoconf macro directory
or directly to your aclocal.m4 file. Running `aclocal' takes care of this.
You will also need config.guess and config.sub, which you can get from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/config/.

(or "`aclocal' does this for you." ?)
