ld reports error in elf32-i386.c

Hi,

i've tried to relink the ORACLE 8.1.7.0 binaries applying the
glibc-stubs patch with the command 'relink all'. I am getting the
following error-messages:
/usr/i486-suse-linux/bin/ld: BFD internal error, aborting at 
../../bfd/elf32-i386.c line 1750 in elf_i386_relocate_section
/usr/i486-suse-linux/bin/ld: Please report this bug.

I know that Orace 817 didn't work with glibc 2.2.4. It was a test!

gcc: 2.95.3
ld: 2.11.90.0.29
